Once, I stayed up all night wondering where the sun went.....then, suddenly, it dawned on me.
Once again, Mother Nature smiled at us with wonderful weather for the weekend. If you missed it out here, hopefully you enjoyed it wherever you were. We are still getting newbies coming out to see what it is all about. If you have friends that are curious as to what it's all about, I encourage you to invite them to come out with you. Heck, they might enjoy it enough to come back.
Once again, I want to thank you all for making this club the friendliest one around. You guys make it that way. We are all just adults acting like kids. Maybe that's Cyril's secret.
I really want to give kudos to Dottie for a season of mowing and making the hill so pretty with her mowing. It was getting a bit ragged prepping for the race, and she tackled it like a champ. You may have noticed the improvements on the roads, and we can thank Harlan and Billy for all they do on it.
Last, but not least, again I'll say if it wasn't for our members, we would have nothing. Thank you all for everything.
Until we meet again, adios.
FROM THE CRUISE DECK
I sent out Teach this past weekend to get the course ready for Redneck Frisbee Golf. This new game looks like a lot of fun as a tournament this upcoming weekend! It is a 7 “hole” course using Frisbees instead of golf balls, and numbered laundry baskets instead of holes. There will be two divisions: men’s and women’s. The winner in each (lowest score) wins a bracelet and liquor, and special trophy. Second place in each wins just liquor. Everything takes place on flag pole hill, and we will meet at the “V” at 1pm. It is easier to walk than golf cart, but if someone can’t walk, a cart is allowed.
This will be another game that can be played at any time at the Armadillo. Not only that, but you can get the baskets and Frisbees off Teach’s deck and set up your own course any time of the year! These tournaments are to get people together, and to show all the things you can do all year long. The prizes are just a little perk. Just good clean fun. Keep all this in mind as we play these tournaments. And, it’s free to play!
Lots of fun things coming up! We love seeing so many people participating in these. Mark these dates down on your calendar, and always check the Armadillo Newsletter. Prizes (and most importantly) CHAMPION bracelets are awarded to all winners…

As always, thank you all for your participation and/or spectating these games. Getting together with our family is the whole idea. It makes us all better by being together!
My blog is "direct" and "to the point" That's easier for me. So here it goes...
THIS CLUB DOES NOT ALLOW PHOTOS AND/OR VIDEOS TAKEN UNLESS SANCTIONED BY THE OFFICE. Every once in a while, we need to do a refresher on some of the rules that every AANR club abides by. The Armadillo Resort also has a rule regarding this. #5 Cameras, Camera Phones, or Video Recording Equipment of any kind are strictly prohibited on Armadillo Resort Grounds. (The exception is with Management's permission for special events. At which time an announcement will be made that a camera will be used.)
ONLINE PAYMENTS PREFERRED Soon, we will no longer be taking checks as a form of payment. The online and secured processing of credit/debit cards to pay your invoice is both immediate and accurate. It makes both sides very happy. Utilize the PAY INVOICE button now. It is highly encrypted and safe.
SOME SITES STILL NEED ATTENTION Some of you came out and titied up your sites. Thank you, Some sites, however, still look messy and unsafe (think snakes). Other Members that rent/live around these sites are frustrated (and even angry) over the situation.
Dottie is willing to mow sites for a charge. This would be a business deal between you and her, if so chosen. Please give her a call for further information.
WAS I DOUBLE BILLED ON MY ELECTRICITY BILL LAST MONTH? Simply put... No. There were, however, two months of billing on one invoice. That's because the electric billing did not go out the month before. But you were not charged twice for the same meter readings. Your kilowatt readings should flow just fine from invoice to invoice just fine. SMH
